New Piece Unique From Gellis Family Cigars
A “piece unique” in the watch world is a one-of-a-kind timepiece for the most discerning collectors. Kyle Gellis, owner of Warped and Gellis Family Cigars, has applied the term to his limited-edition cigar brand of the same name. At the PCA trade show, which begins on April 18, Gellis will be showing the 2026 Piece Unique, another limited blend. While this is the third Piece Unique, each release is a blend that Gellis is producing only once.
This edition of Piece Unique follows an international blend and the first U.S. release before that. The size has been the same, but the compositions are different. For 2026, the cigar will consist of an Ecuadoran Connecticut shade wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. It comes in one size, a Toro measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge that will retail for $40 apiece. Gellis says that the cigars are aged for a year before boxing.
Piece Unique is produced in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera La Isla. Only 500 boxes of 15 will be produced. Gellis plans on shipping the cigars to retailers after the summer.
