Last week, Swiss cigarmaker Cavalier Genève began shipping three new cigars to retailers. Two of them are the same cigar rolled with different wrappers—one darker and one lighter—to celebrate the company’s first decade in the cigar business. The third is a single-size limited edition made for 2026.

Cavalier Genève

Originally called Project 10th Anniversary, the release has been renamed as 10 Years Crafting. It’s rolled in one size, a toro measuring 6 1/4 inches by 52 ring gauge, and comes in two wrapper types (claro and oscuro), both of which are the same Honduran, Cuban-seed leaf, just culled from different primings. Underneath is a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa and a long list of filler tobaccos:

  • Honduran seco (Copán)

  • Honduran seco (Jamastran)

  • Nicaraguan viso (Estelí)

  • Honduran broadleaf viso

  • Paraguayan ligero

  • Honduran ligero (Jamastran)

  • Nicaraguan ligero (Jalapa)

  • Indian ligero

According to the company, the cigars are medium-bodied in terms of strength.

The 10 Years Crafting cigars are not available separately for purchase. Instead, they are packaged together in 14-count boxes, alternating between light and dark (seven total of each).

Production will be ongoing throughout the remainder of the year before being discontinued. The set has a suggested retail price of $344.40, or $24.60 per cigar.

Every year, the company releases a limited-edition, one-off cigar produced for a one-year span. Each edition’s blend is undisclosed and comes in a single size, which might also change from year to year. For 2026, it’s a 6 1/2-by-47 toro called LE2026, and it has a suggested retail price of $16.70. Though the blend is unknown, the company told Cigar Aficionado that the cigars are intended to be medium-to-full-bodied.

A total of 1,948 boxes of 10 cigars have been produced, with approximately 1,000 boxes allocated for the U.S. market.

All Cavalier Genève cigars are rolled at the company’s Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Danlí, Honduras.
