My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Años LE Now Available
Since its debut in 2022, the My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Años LE has only been released every other year, and in very limited numbers. If you were a fan of the blend, then this is your summer as the 2026 production is now available at retail.
The My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Años LE was meant to commemorate what would have been the 100th birthday of José García Alayón, father to company founder José “Pepín” Garcia, grandfather to Jaime Garcia and great grandfather to Jandy Garcia, who blended this cigar. All are active members of My Father Cigars, a family-owned operation that makes premium cigars in Miami, Nicaragua and Honduras. The Garcias are also prolific growers of tobacco as well.
The small, limited-edition line comes in two sizes: the Corona Extra, measuring 5 1/2 inches by 48 ring gauge, and the Corona Especial at 6 1/2 by 44, which was also named Cigar Aficionado’s No. 13 cigar of 2023 in our annual Top 25 list. The Corona Especial is a round parejo while the Corona Extra is softly box pressed. Both sizes are topped with pigtail caps, come in 22-count boxes and have a suggested retail price of $14 per cigar.
This all-Nicaraguan blend differs from the core Le Bijou 1922 line, but all the tobacco was still grown by the Garcias, namely on their San Rafael, Las Quebradas and San José farms.
Only 1,922 boxes of each size will be released.
