A small Miami factory has teamed up again with cigar giant General Cigar Co. for a special, non-Cuban Cohiba that’s made in the United States. Called Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata, the limited-edition smoke is the sixth installment in a line of Cohiba Serie M cigars rolled at the El Titan de Bronze factory. The cigar is slated to begin shipping to retailers on Monday, March 2nd.

Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a filler mix of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The cigar will arrive in one size, called Toro, measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge. It has a suggested retail price of $29.99. The Toro ships in silver-hued, flip-top boxes of 10 cigars. Only 3,000 boxes will be released. 

Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata is the second Cohiba cigar in the history of the brand to be rolled with a Mexican San Andrés cover leaf. The first was Cohiba Riviera, released in 2023. Serie M Reserva Plata is part of a relatively new series of Cohiba cigars that are made in Miami, Florida. The series started in 2021, and includes three Cohiba Serie M cigars, Serie M Reserva Roja and Serie M Reserva Azul. All of the Serie M cigars are crafted at El Titan de Bronze. According to General, only the factory’s top rollers are tasked with making the cigar.

“This is our sixth Serie M Release, and it continues to be a pleasure working with El Titan de Bronze to create a special expression each year for this line,” said Cohiba brand ambassador Sean Williams.
