Few places around the globe provide a better backdrop for showcasing world-class, post-war automobiles than Miami. This epicenter of luxury—where fashion, wealth, art and cigars collide—is a natural runway. That’s why, for the ninth straight year, the Miami Concours quite literally rolled out the red carpet through the ritzy Miami Design District to illustrate automotive excellence. The weekend event returned on February 13-15, and the lineup of cars was about as good as it gets.

The Miami Concours is put on by Hxecute, an events company based in Miami, in partnership with Prestige Imports, CURATED, duPont REGISTRY Group, the Concours Club and the Miami Design District. The weekend festivities offer more than just a car show, highlighting design, fashion and architecture, with notable luminaries of each field in attendance. But naturally, the fast rides are the main attraction. This particular event places emphasis on exotic, post-war automobiles, typically those with price tags and top speeds that are nearly inconceivable to the average joe.

The three-day program unfolded with a sequence of curated experiences and events, mostly ticketed, though some parts were open to the public. To kick things off on Friday, February 13, there was a “Drive-In Movie Night” at the Jungle Plaza in the Miami Design District. The event featured a special screening of Rush, a popular movie about real-life F1 drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda, along with a live DJ, open bar and “elevated cinema-inspired” cuisine. The party continued on Saturday with a lineup of car-specific events, from iHeartMedia and Polestar, and there were various exhibits of high-end automobiles throughout the whole weekend.

One of the main themes of this year’s event was contemporary hypercars. These rides are true feats of automotive engineering. To qualify for such a moniker, a car needs to have more than 1,000 horsepower, speeds that can exceed 250 mph and the capability to go zero to 60 in less than three seconds.

At the 2026 Miami Concours, one of the guests of honor was Christian von Koenigsegg, considered a pioneer in the world of hypercars. He’s the founder of Swedish-based Koenigsegg Automotive, and his cars have broken production car speed records on multiple occasions. Koenigsegg was in attendance for crowd engagements and other parts of the festivities, and he was debuting the Koenigsegg CC850, an impressive ride that took home the Best Hypercar honors (a 2008 Koenigsegg CCX was also the Best In Show winner). “This year, we were proud to recognize Christian von Koenigsegg—one of the great visionaries of our time—and to present both historic and contemporary examples of his groundbreaking work,” said John Temerian, co-founder of CURATED, one of the partners for the event and a Miami-based company that buys and sells blue chip vintage supercars.

The main event of the weekend came on Sunday, culminating in a red-carpet layout that weaved through streets of Miami’s Design District, displaying some of the finest cars in the world. There was a welcome experience that was open to the public, but for full admittance, guests needed to purchase tickets. Known as the VIP Red Carpet Experience, this portion of the event gave guests access to luxury brand activations, private shopping, priority dining reservations, limited-edition merchandise and live entertainment. The Moore Miami, part hotel, part private social club and culinary destination, was a main partner that helped facilitate this VIP experience. Perhaps the most intriguing offering was the Accutron Cut & Light event, which took place inside The Moore Miami, allowing guests to take a break from the fast rides and enjoy La Palina cigars.

The weekend ultimately concluded with an awards ceremony for Best in Show for select categories. Regardless of if they were declared a winner or not, there were tons of world-class cars showcased over the Miami Concours weekend, including a 1968 Ford Mustang Bullitt, a 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider (winner of the People’s Choice honors), a 2005 Maserati MC12, a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB and a 2020 Pagani Huayra Roadster BC "RBCIII," to name just a few.
