La Aroma De Cuba Habano Reserve Now In Giant El Jefe Size
Ever wonder what the La Aroma de Cuba Habano Reserve blend would taste like if it were rolled in the giant El Jefe format? If so, that curiosity can now be satisfied. Brand owner Ashton Distributors Inc. offers the Habano Reserve in its imposing 7-inch-by-58-ring El Jefe size, but you’ll have to buy a sampler to try it—at least for now.
When Ashton released its La Aroma de Cuba Habano Reserve last year, it was only available in a single toro size called Monarch. Like the entire La Aroma de Cuba series (which has nine different lines), Habano Reserve is made in Nicaragua by the Garcia family at their My Father Cigars factory. The blend consists of an Ecuador Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos, all grown on the Garcia’s farms located throughout Estelí, Jalapa and Namanji.
The Habano Reserve will come in 24-count boxes and have a suggested retail price of $10.60 per cigar, however, it won’t be shipping until the fourth quarter of this year. When it does, only 2,500 boxes are being released. In the meantime, a five-count El Jefe sampler containing the new cigar is shipping now with a suggested retail price of $50 per box. Each sampler comes with two La Aroma de Cuba cigars from the core line, two La Aroma Connecticut and one La Aroma Habano Reserve.
