Crowned Heads Tennessee Waltz Expands To Three Sizes
The fans asked and Crowned Heads listened. Next week, the single-size Crowned Heads Tennessee Waltz line is getting two more cigars, making it more a of a full-fledged brand. But it also received a makeover with new bands and an overhauled packaged design.
Tennessee Waltz started in 2014 as a state exclusive for retailers in Tennessee, where Crowned Heads is headquartered. Its growing popularity prompted company co-owner and president Jon Huber to eventually sell beyond state lines.
“Tennessee Waltz began as a personal homage to my grandfather, and since its release in 2014 has been our love letter to our home state of Tennessee,” Huber says. “The demand from retailers and consumers outside of Tennessee over the years lead us to the decision to expand the brand, and finally give this extraordinary blend the full stage it deserves."
The brand, which is in regular production, is made in Nicaragua by My Father Cigars and will be offered in three formats: OG (the original size), measuring 5 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge ($11.95); CG, at 5 5/8 by 46 ($10.95); and a 6-by-54 Toro ($12.95). All sizes come packaged in 21-count boxes.
While the packaging has been changed, the blend has not, as it still consists of Nicaraguan tobacco save for the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper.
