Cigar Aficionado’s Second 2024 Presidential Tracker Poll—Trump’s Lead Grows Following Debate
Former President Donald Trump has improved upon his lead over President Joe Biden in the most recent Cigar Aficionado readers’ presidential poll. The latest numbers, tabulated this week, have Trump favored by 63.2 percent of respondents, up from 58.6 percent in our first poll. Biden was named by only 22.5 percent, down considerably from the 28.6 percent of readers who said they would vote for him prior. The remaining respondents said they were either undecided (9.3 percent) or intended to vote for another candidate (5 percent).
The change is in line with nationwide polling, showing Trump making gains on Biden following the June 27 debate.

Just over half of the voters polled (54.9 percent) say they are registered Republicans, 17.6 percent are registered Democrats and 27.6 percent say they are independent. The survey was answered by 378 people, all of them subscribers to Cigar Aficionado magazine.
