Cavalier Genève Green Jacket 2026 Shipping
Starting next week, Swiss cigarmaker Cavalier Genève’s limited-edition Green Jacket cigar is shipping to retailers. Green Jacket is released annually, and each release is always made in the same size, but with a different blend.
The 2026 edition of Green Jacket is rolled with a Nicaraguan wrapper from Jalapa, a Connecticut-seed binder grown under shade in Honduras and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. It measures 7 inches long by 47 ring gauge.
Each box contains 10 of the 2026 edition of Green Jacket, plus an eleventh bonus cigar. Clad in a simple, white band is the “muestra” (Spanish for “sample”) of the 2027 edition of Green Jacket. The blend consists of a Honduran Jamastran wrapper and binder and a combination of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Paraguayan fillers. There is also some Ecuador Sumatra in the filler as well. Founder Sébastien DeCoppet told Cigar Aficionado that both cigars are medium-bodied in terms of strength, though the 2027 is the milder of the two.
The cigars sell for $203 per box. If bought individually, one 2026 Green Jacket sells for $20.30, while the 2027 version is less expensive, $18.45.
The cigars are rolled at the company’s Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Danlí, Honduras.
