There’s a new Cuban Regional Edition cigar now available in Bulgaria and it celebrates 30 years of Habanos distributor Kaliman Caribe Ltd., which imports Cuban cigars for many Balkan and Adriatic countries, including Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, Romania and Slovenia. Called the Ramon Allones Rosa Búlgara, the cigar comes in varnished boxes of 10. Only 6,000 boxes are being produced.

Rosa Búlgara translates to “Bulgarian rose,” which is Bulgaria’s national emblem (also referred to as a Damask rose). It measures 6 3/8 inches by 52 ring gauge, an uncommon size in the Cuban portfolio known as a Capuleta, first seen when Habanos released the Romeo y Juleta Romeo de Luxe as a 2013 Edición Limitada. A secondary band on the cigar references Kaliman Caribe’s 30th anniversary, which took place in 2025, so the release comes a bit late, which is not uncommon for special edition Cuban cigars.

The cigar has a suggested retail price of 48 euros, or roughly $55.50 apiece. 

This wouldn’t be the first time that a Cuban Regional Edition was launched in that part of the world. The Ramon Allones Rosa Búlgara follows other releases such as the Juan Lopez Lancero Adriático (Exclusivo Adriático), La Gloria Cubana Via Balcánica (Exclusivo Bulgaria) and the El Rey del Mundo Grand Marshall (Exclusivo Balkani).
