A Trio Of Cigars Coming From Aganorsa Leaf
Three new smokes from Nicaraguan cigar company and tobacco grower Aganorsa Leaf will be on display at the PCA trade show next month. Two releases are additions to the company’s limited-edition Supreme Leaf line, and the other is a new size for the core Aniversario Connecticut brand, which is packaged in a metal tube for travel.
Supreme Leaf is a series of limited editions released annually in different sizes. They are produced at the Aganorsa Leaf factory in Nicaragua and consist entirely of tobacco grown on Aganorsa’s farms in Nicaragua, including the Corojo ’99 wrapper. Since Supreme Leaf’s debut in 2019, a total of 10 sizes have been intermittently available in the U.S. market. This year, Aganorsa is releasing the Inter Robusto (5 1/4 inches by 54 ring gauge, $11.99) and the 6-by-50 Euro Toro ($12.99). You may have seen these cigars overseas, as they were first made for the international market in 2024.
Only 1,000 10-count boxes of each size have been produced, though the sizes will remain in regular production internationally.
Aganorsa will also be adding a new size called Tubo to its Aniversario Connecticut brand, bringing the line up to three cigars. At 6 by 52, it’s the only size in the line to come in an aluminum tube. Aniversario’s blend consists of Nicaraguan tobacco with the exception of the Ecuadoran Connecticut cover leaf. Retailing for $19.99 each, the Tubos come in boxes of 10.
All cigars are expected to ship directly after the trade show next month.
