Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro Cigars Rated
The new Cuban Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro line has finally reached many global markets and we rate the entire line in today’s issue of Cigar Insider.
Billed by Habanos S.A. as the “most elegant and exclusive” of the Romeo range, the Línea de Oro is purported to be more full-bodied than the core brand, and a higher-end, super-premium extension, similar to the Cohiba Behike series or the Montecristo Línea 1935.
The cigars were previewed to guests at the 2020 Habanos Festival in celebration of Romeo y Julieta's 145th anniversary, but have only started to appear in retail stores around the world recently. It comes in three sizes, and the cigars are packaged in sycamore boxes far more lavish than those of typical Romeos. The bands are equally ornate, with sophisticated holographic elements and beautifully gilded embossments.
Do these new, high-end Romeos live up to their promise? See today’s Cigar Insider to find out.
