Patel Offers New Vintage

Rocky Patel released a new Vintage line at the
RTDA show last week. The Rocky Patel Vintage
1999, made with seven-year-old shade-grown wrapper
from Connecticut, joins the 1990 and 1992 in the
company's lineup.
Patel, president and CEO of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, described the new cigar as elegant and mild. "Like an aged Port," he said. Unlike the original Vintage releases, the 1999s are not being box pressed, due, said Patel, to the fragile nature of the thin shade-wrapper leaf.
The brand comes in seven sizes: Churchill, Toro, Robusto, Torpedo, Petit Corona, The 60 and Perfecto, which measures 4 inches long by 48 ring. The cigars have suggested retail prices of $4.75 to $10.
