New And Larger Location For Holt’s Northeast Cigar Bar
Philadelphia-based Holts’ Cigar Co. has moved its Northeast cigar bar and lounge in Philadelphia across the street to a larger space, located at 2990 Southampton Rd. A soft opening took place earlier this week and yesterday the new cigar bar and lounge formally opened to all customers.
“We are thrilled to open our new location to the public,” said Ashton’s Sathya Levin. “This project has been three years in the making, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Our goal is to provide cigar enthusiasts with an exceptional place to purchase and enjoy cigars in a premium yet welcoming setting, supported by world-class product knowledge, service and hospitality.”
The space is significantly larger than the previous location—eight times larger according to Levin. Inside the new 11,000-square-foot space, patrons can order a cocktail from the fully-stocked bar and pair it with a cigar in one of the plentiful seats available in the lounge area (measuring 7,000 square feet). For those who prefer smoking outdoors in warmer weather, an outdoor patio area is also available.
A large portion of the remaining area is taken up by the 2,000-square-foot walk-in humidor, with a holding capacity of about 100,000 cigars. As to be expected, The humidor is fully stocked with a wide selection of premium cigars, including Ashton Distributors’ portfolio of brands (Ashton is the parent company to Holt’s) such as La Aroma de Cuba, San Cristobal, and Ashton, along with favorites from Arturo Fuente, My Father, Padrón, Oliva, Perdomo, Rocky Patel, AJ Fernandez, Davidoff, Tatuaje, Plasencia, La Flor Dominicana and many others.
Open seven days a week, Holt’s Northeast also has private rooms available for reservation.
