H. Upmann Royal Robustos Close to Shipping

The H. Upmann Royal
Robusto, a new size in the venerable Cuban brand, is nearly ready for
market. A Cigar Aficionado tour of Cuba last week found workers putting
the cigars in boxes. They should begin shipping within a few weeks.
The cigars are
Edmundo-sized smokes, measuring 5 3/8 inches long with a sizeable 52
ring gauge and packed 10 to the box. Only 50,000 will be made in 2011.
This smoke will begin
as an exclusive to Casa del Habano cigar stores, the network of more
than 140 shops around the world specializing in Cuban cigars. Each of
the cigars is wrapped with the traditional red, white and gold H. Upmann
band and has a secondary band with the La Casa del Habano logo in red
and gold.
