Fuente Fuente OpusX Baby Shark Sightings
There’s a new breed of shark showing up at retailers across the country and Arturo Fuente Cigar Co. is responsible. Fuente has released the Fuente Fuente OpusX No. 77 Baby Shark, a smaller version of the OpusX PerfecXion No. 77 Shark. Like the larger species, Baby Shark was rolled and formed in Fuente’s unique belicoso shark shape, which is partially pressed from the foot to the midsection, but has a round, unpressed belicoso tip.
At 5 1/4 inches by 51 ring gauge, the Baby Shark is slightly shorter and slimmer than the larger OpusX Shark. It has a suggested retail price of $18.50 each and comes in 30-count boxes. Like all OpusX cigars, Baby Sharks are made in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. solely from Dominican tobaccos, including the wrapper which was grown at Chateau de la Fuente.
The OpusX No. 77 Baby Shark joins other sharky shapes from Fuente, such as the aforementioned OpusX PerfecXion No. 77 Shark, the Añejo Reserva No. 77 Shark and the Don Carlos Eye of the Shark which was Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year for 2017.
