First Perfecto For Davidoff’s Winston Churchill Brand
For the first time in the brand’s history, the Davidoff Winston Churchill line now has a perfecto shape. The limited-edition smoke has just begun arriving in cigar shops. These plump perfectos, which are packed in boxes of 10, are presented in a box that’s been modeled after Churchill’s briefcase. Along with the cigars, every package includes a letter penned by Randolph Churchill, the elder statesman’s great grandson.
As a follow-up to last year’s limited-edition Toro, each dramatically tapered Perfecto measures 5 7/8 inches long by 61 ring gauge at its fattest point. The intention, according to Davidoff, was to combine the flavors of the Winston Churchill The Late Hour series along with the character of the core Winston Churchill line. The blend consists of a dark Ecuadoran wrapper, Mexican binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Made in the Dominican Republic, the Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2022 Perfectos have a suggested retail price of $34 each. Only 5,000 boxes were released in the United States with an additional 7,300 boxes going to the rest of the world.
