El Rey Del Mundo Appointment Brazil Shipping Next Week
Scandinavian Tobacco Group is launching a new version of its El Rey del Mundo Appointment brand, and it’s made with a Brazilian wrapper. Called Appointment Brazil, the new cigars should be heading to retailers next week, on April 20.
El Rey del Mundo Appointment Brazil is rolled with a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper that was grown in the Alagoas region. The binder and filler are Nicaraguan, and the line will come in three sizes: Robusto, measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge; Toro, at 6 by 54; and a 5-by-60 Gordo. The cigars, which are packaged in 20-count boxes, are priced in the $8.79 to $9.49 range.
In keeping with its Brazilian theme, the boxes and bands that adorn Appointment Brazil feature a gold and green color scheme that evokes the country’s national flag.
The cigars are made in Danlí, Honduras, at STG’s HATSA factory. El Rey del Mundo Appointment Brazil is the second installment in the company’s Appointment Series. The first El Rey del Mundo Appointment debuted last year, and was produced in collaboration with the Eiroa family of Honduras.
El Rey del Mundo Appointment Brazil is distributed by Forged Cigar Co., a subsidiary of STG.
