Cigar Aficionado’s Third 2024 Presidential Poll—Harris Polls Better Than Biden, But Trump Retains Lead
The Democratic party has a new presumptive candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, and she pulled higher numbers in our most recent poll of subscribers than President Joe Biden did in our two earlier polls. Still, former President Donald Trump remains the favorite.
Trump was named by 55.3 percent of readers who answered our poll, compared to 34.2 percent who said they would vote for Harris. In our previous poll, conducted in early July, Trump was named by 63.2 percent, compared to 22.5 percent for Biden.
Much like in our previous polls, a little more than half of the voters (51.8 percent) say they are registered Republicans, 17.4 percent are registered Democrats and 30.8 percent say they are independent. The survey was answered this week by 400 people, all of them subscribers to Cigar Aficionado magazine.
