Casa Magna Connecticut Gets Small New Size
For those who prefer their smokes on the smaller side, Dominican cigarmaker Quesada Cigars is expanding its Casa Magna Connecticut line with a new regular-production size called Petit Corona. It’s shipping to retailers now.
Measuring 4 1/2 inches by 40 ring gauge, the Petit Corona has a suggested retail price of $6.66. This line is the mildest in the Casa Magna series, consisting of a light, Connecticut-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador. The rest of the blend is Nicaraguan.
The Petit Corona brings the Connecticut line up to four sizes, joining the Robusto, Toro and Toro Gordo. While the other sizes come in boxes of 20 cigars, the Petit Corona is packaged in cabinets of 50.
Casa Magna Connecticut is produced at the Quesada’s Tabacos de Exportación Inc. (TABADEX) factory in the Dominican Republic, also known as the Quesada Cigars factory.
