Avo Syncro Nicaragua 10th Anniversary Shipping This Week
The Avo Syncro Nicaragua brand turns 10 years old this year and Davidoff of Geneva is highlighting the anniversary with a limited-edition cigar called Avo Syncro Nicaragua 10th Anniversary Limited Edition, which starts shipping to retailers on April 3.
Measuring 6 5/8 inches by 50 ring gauge, the 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Diadema is a box-pressed, double-tapered figurado with a suggested retail price of $22 each. The blend consists of an Ecuadoran wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and mix of fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. According to the company, the Diadema is a medium-to-full-bodied cigar.
When Avo Syncro Nicaragua debuted in 2015, the line marked a series of firsts for the Avo brand: It was the first Avo with Nicaraguan tobacco, it was the first regular-production Avo to be box-pressed and it was the first regular-production, box-pressed cigar to come from Davidoff’s factory. The Toro size from the original line went on to become the No. 16 cigar in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 list of 2015.
Made in the Dominican Republic at Davidoff’s Occidental Cigar factory (which produces brands that do not bear the Davidoff label), the Avo Syncro Nicaragua 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Diadema comes packaged in 20-count boxes. Only 3,400 boxes have been allocated for the U.S. market.
