Rolex 100 Years Oyster Perpetual 41
The Rolex Oyster debuted in 1926 as the first waterproof and dustproof watch. Soon after, Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf spawned the concept of marketing watches with sports figures, eventually taking it to the summit of Everest and the sands of Daytona. One hundred years later, the Swiss powerhouse celebrates  the milestone with its Oyster Perpetual 41 Rolesor ($9,650), bearing subtle gestures to the ground-breaking timepiece. The robust water resistance of the original Oyster (named for the renowned seal on its namesake bivalve) was achieved with a screw-down back and bezel and a winding crown.
