ProCigar Auction Lot Preview
Next Friday, at the conclusion of the ProCigar Festival in the Dominican Republic, several lots will be auctioned off to benefit charity. Cigar Aficionado got an exclusive first look of what will go on the block:
Lot 1: Espejo de Litto, by La Flor Dominicana
A humidor (pictured above) containing 150 La Flor Dominicana cigars, made of three unique, never-released blends created by Litto Gomez, co-owner of the brand. They are divided into Origens, Litto’s Revolution and Futura, showing the past, present and future of the cigar brand. The starting bid will be $20,000.
Lot 2: Founder’s Reserve Blue Label, by PDR Cigars
This five-tray, mahogany and Spanish cedar humidor comes with 150 PDR Founder’s Reserve Blue Label cigars. The tobaccos inside are said to be more than eight years old, made from a blend of Dominican tobaccos cloaked in an Ecuador Habano wrapper. The blend was made just for the Festival, and comes in one size, a toro measuring 6 1/2 inches long by 52 ring gauge. The starting bid will be $15,000.
Lot 3: The Year of the Horse Masterpiece Humidor, by Tabadom Holding
With a lucky 88 Davidoff Year of the Horse cigars inside, this commemorative humidor features a tray with gold-plated handles. The smoke was made using Dominican tobacco grown from proprietary hybrid seeds, and will have a starting bid of $8,000.
Lot 4: Carlos André-PACE, by Arnold André
Most humidors are finished in wooden veneers, but this German-made piece is finished in an outer shell of asphalt, something you normally find on roads. It comes with 100 cigars made by Arnold André said to be intense and powerful. Starting bid: $3,000.
Lot 5: Carrillo—Adventure Around The World, by Casa Carrillo
A collectible humidor (pictured below) designed as a travel case, created in collaboration with Hernández Manufacturing to honor the trio of countries instrumental in the history of Casa Carrillo: Cuba, the United States and the Dominican Republic. The humidor contains 180 cigars, consisting of the first limited-edition of Battleborn, created exclusively for this auction and presented in two unreleased vitolas. The starting bid will be $20,000.
Lot 6: Fuente Fuente OpusX Humidor, by Arturo Fuente Cigar Co.
Details were pending on the Fuente lot, but it will contain 120 cigars and have a starting bid of $35,000.
Lot 7: VegaFina Selection Humidor, by Tabacalera de Garcia
A VegaFina Selection Humidor containing 200 VegaFina cigars in a host of styles, showing different blends, strengths and sizes. The starting bid will be $8,000.
Lot 8: María Victoria Palma, by Tabacalera Palma
Created to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Tabacalera Palma, this humidor is named in honor of Jochy Blanco’s daughter María and granddaughter Victoria, symbolizing three generations. It comes with 126 cigars, and has a starting bid of $5,000.
Lot 9: Family Creed: Fuerte Sol, by La Aurora
A humidor designed by Livi León, fourth generation of the León Jimenes family, who even painted the tobacco field shown on the inside of the piece. Inside are 122 Family Creed: Fuerte Sol cigars, named for the age of the company. The cigars are Belicoso Box Press smokes, made just for this auction and never to be released again. The piece is accompanied by a personal letter from Guillermo León, president of La Aurora. Starting bid: $10,000.
Lot 10: Horses and Tobacco by De Los Reyes Cigars
Celebrating the Year of the Horse, this mahogany humidor (one of one) has 120 specially blended cigars made by René León. The starting bid is $5,000.
Lot 11: CAO Selection Of Luxury, by General Cigar Dominicana
A humidor designed in partnership with Dominican artist Juan Carlos Fondeur, made from Caoba wood sourced from the Dominican Republic. Inside are 120 CAO Selection Of Luxury cigars, exclusive smokes that have never been produced before. Starting bid: $8,000.
Lot 12: ProCigar Humidor 2026, by ProCigar
A humidor made by HumidifGroup and designed by Dominican artist Laura Franco, who set out to capture the essence of the ProCigar Festival’s White Dinner Party. There are 12 compartments, each personally autographed by a ProCigar member, and each containing 10 exclusive cigars from their respective factories (132 cigars total). The starting bid will be $7,000.
