Ferio Tego Inks Distribution Deal With Davidoff
The new owner of the cigar brands once owned by Nat Sherman has just formed a distribution deal with Davidoff of Geneva USA. Ferio Tego LLC’s cigars, which include Metropolitan and Timeless, will be distributed by Davidoff.
The deal was announced today, but Ferio Tego’s cigars still are not ready for market. Michael Herklots, who is one of the company’s founders, told Cigar Aficionado he expects the cigars to be out this summer, adding that the distribution plan will be phased, starting with the launch of the company’s Ferio Tego cigar, then Timeless and Metropolitan.
Herklots once was part of Davidoff, running the company’s Madison Avenue store in New York. “I spent nearly the first half of my career working for Davidoff of Geneva in New York City,” he said in a statement. “It feels quite fitting to come full circle in a way.”
