Drew Estate Postpones Florida Barn Smoker Amid Outbreak
In response to the current Coronavirus outbreak, Drew Estate announced yesterday that the Florida Barn Smoker, originally slated for May 16 in Clermont, Florida, will be postponed as a precautionary measure.
Out of concern for the Drew Estate and tobacco farm staff and those attending, the Florida VIP Dinner Experience has been rescheduled for November 13 and the Barn Smoker event for November 14.
Barn Smoker, hosted by Drew Estate, is a series of celebratory and educational gatherings intended to bring together cigar lovers to smoke, drink and learn more about the craft of cigar making, highlighting the history of each tobacco-growing region the events are held.
All tickets previously purchased for the May date will be honored, as will all refunds for those no longer able to attend the event. Ticket refunds can be requested through Eventbrite or by emailing marketingevents@drewestate.com.
As for the Barn Smoker events taking place in Pennsylvania (July 25), Connecticut (August 8), Kentucky (September 26) and Louisiana (October 24), Drew Estate says they are currently monitoring the situation and will provide further updates in advance accordingly, pending further developments.
