Dinner Remembering Zino Davidoff

The Davidoff store on Madison Avenue in New York City threw a lavish dinner party Monday night to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Zino Davidoff's birth. The night featured a meal of lobster, shrimp and steak from nearby Rothmann's Steakhouse, fine wines and a sampling of the two Davidoff cigars made in honor of the occasion.
Raymond M. Scheurer, a member of the executive board of Oettinger Imex AG, the Basel, Switzerland parent company of Davidoff, spoke at length about Zino's life, and played a short film celebrating the man's love of tobacco.
The special Davidoff cigars were presented to the guests. They were paired with Davidoff Cognac.
