Big Smoke Las Vegas Seminars Sold Out, Evening Tickets Still Available
Next month, some of the best cigarmakers in the world will appear on stage in Las Vegas to discuss their craft during the Big Smoke Seminars. Tickets went quick—and the event is now sold out—but there’s still time to get in on the Big Smoke evening celebrations, where even more cigarmakers will be on hand to pass out cigars and greet fans.

The 2018 Big Smoke will take place at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from November 9 to 11. The evening parties are on Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m. (5:30 for VIP ticket holders).
At the evening parties, guests will have to opportunity to collect more than 30 cigars straight from the hands of the men and women who produce them. The current list already includes cigars from many of the top producers in the industry:

Not only is it a chance to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded cigar smokers, it’s also an opportunity to shake the hands or take a photo with your favorite cigarmaker.
Guests can pair their cigars with a light buffet and a selection of spirits from Bacardí, Bird Dog Whiskey, Calumet Farm, Dewar's, D'ussé, Hennessy, Jack Daniel's, Stranahan's, TinCup, Westland Whiskey and WhistlePig.
The sold-out seminars bring a number of cigarmakers to stage to discuss intriguing cigar and tobacco-related tops. This year, we will hear from Carlos Fuente Jr. of Arturo Fuente Cigars, Jorge Padrón of Padrón Cigars and José Oliva of Oliva Cigars, the men behind the Nos. one, two and three cigars of 2017.
There will be a presentation on Nicaraguan cigars with Rocky Patel of Rocky Patel Cigars, Nestor Andrés Plasencia of Plasencia Cigars, and Alejandro Martínez Cuenca of Joya de Nicaragua. And a discussion on Cult Cigars will feature three cigarmakers who make some of the hottest cigars on the market: Dion Giolito of Illusione, Pete Johnson of Tatuaje and Kyle Gellis of Warped Cigars.
There will also be an update on Cuban cigars, where Cigar Aficionado editors David Savona and Gordon Mott will speak with Fernando Domínguez, the premium cigar director of Imperial Brands, as well as a special lunch presented by Micallef Cigars.
On Sunday the seminars shift from education to lifestyle topics, kicking off with a cigar smokers’ breakfast hosted by Nicole Brisson, executive chef of Eataly Las Vegas, followed by a Roll Your Own Cigar seminar with Ventura Cigar Co. and finally, a paring seminar with fine rums and handmade cigars made by Altadis U.S.A., the makers of iconic Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta cigars.
