Since its launch in 2003, Ashton Distributor’s La Aroma de Cuba brand has expanded over the years with multiple offshoots for all different tastes and styles but sometimes you just can’t beat the original. Made in Nicaragua by My Father Cigars, this Robusto from the core line is composed of a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper draped over Nicaraguan binders and fillers. The smoke is as strong as it is complex with its ample draw and burn delivering opulent notes of roasted peanut and toasted chestnut, along with some intriguing hints of licorice and minerals adding further dimension. Plus, with a price tag of only $7.25 apiece, it’s an absolute steal.
