Liga Privada T52 Corona Viva

Tasting Note
Drew Estate was once only known for “infused” cigars but that changed in 2007 with Liga Privada No. 9, Spanish for “private blend.” Prized for its power, Liga Privada was expanded in 2009 with the T52 line, which retains No. 9’s internal tobacco blend but swaps the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper for dark Connecticut Habano that has been stalk-cut—meaning the entire plant is chopped, then speared and hung in a barn. Liga Privada’s signature power is condensed in this slim Corona Viva, densely layered with notes of earth and caramel and enlivened by baking spices such as cinnamon and clove before a finish of malt and stewed white raisin.
