The dark, veiny wrapper of this robusto is coarse to the touch. Drawing and burning evenly, it starts out quite bold with notes of earth, pepper and leather but settles into a warm, sweet palate of vanilla, caramel and a touch of allspice. The nutty finish hints at walnut.
