Tasting Note
Willy Herrera got his start developing in-house blends for the El Titan de Bronze factory in Miamiās Little Havana. But for the last decade, heās been master blender at Drew Estate in Nicaragua. His influence is perhaps most evident in the brand that bears his name, Herrera Esteli. The brand has performed strongly in our Top 25 rankings, including the Herrera Esteli NorteƱo Robusto Grande, the No. 7 cigar in 2016. But its thinner counterpart, the Herrera Esteli NorteƱo Lonsdale, packs a stronger punch. The pressed Lonsdale is a full-bodied, leathery smoke with notes of toasted pecan and licorice before a latte finish.
